About the print: 

This is a professionally printed giclee produced from one of my drawings. The print is made with UV pigmented inks that are 
lightfast and durable, rated to last 150-200 years. The artwork is printed on white, fine art 210 g/m2 matte watercolor paper by 
Hahnemuhle . The paper is acid-free with 50% rag. It has a natural white finish with a slightly-structured soft-textured surface. 
There is a 1" border around all four edges of the artwork, allowing for easy matting and framing.


About the artwork:

This highly detailed abstract painting writhes with color and joyous emotion. The underlying forms were created in a stream-of-consciousness manner, allowing the subconscious mind to emerge and take control. Various patterns and dots of multiple colors accentuate the flow and festivity of the piece. This painting was inspired by my appreciation of tribal artforms, particularly by the embroidered textiles I encountered during my visit to the Rajasthani region of India a few years ago. My abstract paintings are very process-oriented and carry a spiritual meaning related to the mystery of existence and a reverence for the unfolding process of life.
