This piece is the polar opposite of my other painting, Dreamtime. In that painting, a young baby floated fresh in the clouds surrounded by butterflies. In this painting, the rose-clock is the same, but the figure is an old man, shrouded in mystery. The baby's sky was pink with hope and promise, his is crimson with age and experience.
